The design and execution of a core graphic collection for a domestic tote bag retailer, including the brand identity (Haven Hearth) and multiple distinct retail-ready graphic prints, all optimized for cost-effective manufacturing.

Summary

We developed a complete set of assets for a new line of tote bags, focusing on designs with high retail appeal across diverse consumer segments. The project included defining the main brand logo and identity and creating three unique graphic prints: a positive affirmation design, a minimalist botanical design, and a modern character illustration. All designs were prepared to be instantly production-ready for screen-printing on canvas.

Challenge

The primary challenge was ensuring the graphic collection was broad enough to capture various consumer tastes while maintaining a common thread of modern, appealing simplicity suitable for a canvas tote. The designs also had to be optimized for print quality using a limited color palette to ensure cost-effectiveness for mass retail production.

Solutions

Segmented Graphic Strategy: Designed three distinct graphic styles (Positive Affirmation, Minimalist Botanical, Character Illustration) to maximize market penetration.

Production Readiness: Each print was designed using a limited-color vector format, guaranteeing crisp, high-quality output for economical screen-printing onto canvas material.

Effective Visual Merchandising: Created soft, lifestyle mockups that immediately position the totes as desirable, everyday accessories for e-commerce promotion.
