Founder's Note

TheCmute was founded by Karan Puri, a designer building digital products and brand systems since 2019. What began as a solo practice has evolved into a collaborative studio, where Karan and a team of skilled designers have worked with 50+ clients, delivering 1,500+ design assets across branding, web, UI/UX, and growth-driven creative. This hands-on experience shapes how TheCmute operates today: focused on clarity, speed, and design that serves real business outcomes.

AI plays a central role in how we work, but never replaces thinking. We use AI to accelerate exploration, generate strong foundations, and remove inefficiencies. Human designers then refine, challenge, and elevate the work. This combination allows us to move faster without compromising quality, making AI not optional but essential for modern design teams.
